About CBV Tech News
CBV Tech News covers technology in English: AI, hardware, phones, software, reviews and analysis. We publish a small number of stories, roughly one a day, and try to make each one worth the few minutes it takes to read.
How a story is made
Topics come from people who follow the industry closely: independent reviewers, analysts, engineers and reporters who post on X and write blogs, newsletters and videos. A post is where a story starts, never where it ends.
- At least two sources. Every story is checked against at least two independent sources, usually including the original announcement, filing, changelog or documentation. All of them are linked at the end of the article.
- Context, not a rewrite. We do not translate or reword a single post. Each story explains what happened, compares it with what came before, and says why it matters and to whom.
- Quotes stay quotes. When we quote someone, the words are marked as a quotation and linked to where they were said.
- Credited images. Cover photos come from Wikimedia Commons under open licences, and the photographer and licence are shown under each article's image. We do not use logos or press images.
What we cover
- AI: Models, agents, chips and the companies racing to ship them.
- Hardware: Processors, PCs, wearables and the parts inside them.
- Phones: Launches, leaks that turned out true, and what changed for buyers.
- Software: Operating systems, apps, developer tools and the updates that matter.
- Reviews: What reviewers agree on, where they split, and who should care.
- Analysis: The longer view: markets, strategy and why a story matters.
